|
Heather clad mountains
and valleys of green
Most beautiful landscape
there to be seen
The red dragon flying everywhere
But only my memories still take me there
Cos I’ll never forget
Even though it’s been long
But I’ll never regret
Now I’m where I belong
No I’ll never forget
Cos my roots are so strong
It’s the land of my father
It’s he land I come from
As winter is ending, the tournament starts
The Prince of Wales feathers right next to our hearts
We all raise our glasses and take a toast
To beating the English, cos that’s what counts most
Cos I’ll never forget
Even though it’s been long
But I’ll never regret
Now I’m where I belong
No I’ll never forget
Cos my roots are so strong
It’s the land of my father
It’s he land I come from
That’s where I was born
Now
that the distance has taken it’s toll
Since I left the homeland in search of my goal
It may seem so near yet so far away
But I still remember as clear as today |
